On the same page of the newspaper, if you look in the background, you can see a crab. There is no specification of which crab it is. The picture of the crab is below.
This could all mean that the blackout will take place during the Great Sled Race Party, or even before it. Gary is the technician on Club Penguin, so that may be why he is hosting the party, so he can fix everything when the blackout takes place. Now, we’ll have to wait for the party to start and see if the blackout takes place before, during, or after the party!
